Corporate Volunteering

Corporate volunteering is a mutually beneficial partnership that supports both Greater Sydney Landcare's conservation goals and the corporate social responsibility objectives of businesses.

What does a Corporate Volunteering day with us look like?

Corporate volunteering provides an opportunity for businesses and their employees to get involved in their local community and contribute to environmental conservation efforts, which can strengthen community ties and promote social responsibility.

The three main volunteering days we currently offer are:

  1. Tree Planting – this is managed through our Creating Canopies project and is a fun day out where we plant green cover and habitat in targeted locations all over Greater Sydney.
  2. Bush Regeneration and site restoration – we can organise these days at a few sites across Sydney and involves pulling out weeds, rubbish removal and beautifying the bushland.
  3. Water Monitoring – This is run through our Streamwatch program and is crucial to collecting scientifically sound data to help us track the health of Sydney’s waterways.

Corporate Volunteering Info Pack

We have made a handy Info Pack for you to read over and hopefully answer most of your questions. It covers corporate volunteering for our tree planting project Creating Canopies.
